The Problem

The moon is a familiar subject, but capturing its character beyond a straightforward astronomical image required finding different ways to communicate its scale, atmosphere, and emotion. The challenge was to create a visual system that could connect contrasting photographs while keeping the moon as the central thread throughout the experience.

The Approach

I explored the moon through different perspectives, moments, and atmospheric conditions, treating each photograph as part of a larger visual narrative rather than as an isolated image. The editorial layout uses scale, cropping, negative space, and repetition to create a sense of rhythm, allowing the images to shift between intimate details and wider atmospheric views.
